Bio
I am a comix zinester based out of Los Angeles California focusing in comics poetry and autobiographical works. I started making zines and minicomics during my time at Whitman College, but really became invested in the work upon my return to Los Angeles in 2013. My goal is to make books/zines of art that encapsulates the beautiful mundanities of everyday life and the experiences we have in common, touching on everything from relationships, hometowns, self-expression, and public transit. Additionally I like to push the boundaries of the physical medium by not focusing solely on stapled works but also zines that can double as banners, accordion folds, and cutout covers. I have previously shown at events such as LA Zine Fest, Chicago Zine Fest, SF Zine Fest, Print Pomona Art Book Fair, and many more. My zines can be found at fine retailers such as Skylight Books, Silver Sprocket, Quimby's, and Floating World Comics.
